Our Mission
The Friends of the Bedford Public Library is a group of individuals who share a common desire to perpetuate the growth and promote interest in the Bedford Public Library. The Friends believe the Library is an educational and cultural asset to Bedford and all of North Texas.
NLGD Fundraiser Success!
Thanks to our generous donors and raffle participants, this year's NLGD fundraiser raised $4,657!
With these funds, the Friends have purchased a caboose to accompany the train engine in the children's area.
Teen Volunteer Scholarships
Since 2022, teen volunteers who give 12+ hours in the calendar year prior to graduation may apply for scholarships ($1,000–$2,500).
Applications are accepted January–March of senior year; awards are made in April.
